Kastle Systems International Appoints Steve Yevich, Former Brink’s Home Security Executive, as Chief Financial Officer

Falls Church, Va. – April 24, 2013 – Kastle Systems International, the leading provider of managed security solutions, today announced that they have appointed 12- year Brink’s Home Security veteran Steve Yevich as their Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Bringing extensive financial knowledge and business experience, this addition to the executive team reinforces Kastle Systems’ ongoing commitment to industry-leading quality of service and high organic growth. Yevich developed his deep security industry expertise and customer orientation at Brink’s, under its charter of “Creating Customers for Life”; a perspective that will complement Kastle’s dedication to providing world-class service to its clients. During Yevich’s tenure, Brink’s received the Outstanding Customer Service Experience Award from J.D. Power & Associates for six years in a row.

“We put a significant amount of energy into finding a unique fit for this executive position, and I believe that we found that in Steve Yevich,” said Piyush Sodha, CoChairman and CEO of Kastle Systems. “He has 35 years of financial experience, as well as relevant knowledge acquired from over a decade in the security industry. Steve’s work helped to build one of the most well-respected, highest-quality security brands; characteristics we share at Kastle Systems. His addition will be an important contributor to our continued high growth.”

Yevich previously served as the ranking finance executive with Brink’s Home Security, becoming Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Brink’s Home Security Holdings, Inc. until it was acquired by Tyco International in 2010. During his career, Yevich has held senior financial management positions with several publiclyheld and private companies, including the Michael’s Arts and Crafts retail chain and Braniff Airlines.

“I see so many similarities between Kastle Systems and Brink’s in terms of their customer orientation, values and culture, and I am thrilled about utilizing my knowledge to help Kastle pursue the vision shared by the company’s leadership,” said Yevich. “Kastle’s tremendous growth, since 2007 alone, has inspired me to set even greater financial and operational goals for the future of the organization.”

A native of Richmond, Virginia, Yevich graduated magna cum laude from Washington & Lee University; received his master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University; and attained his CPA while with the accounting firm Deloitte Haskins & Sells.
